Romantic Home Date Ideas

It may take a little pre-planning to pull it off but the pay off is worth it. Plan out your romantic home date idea before the big day arrives.

Book off work for the day of your home date, and arrange for the kids to go to grandma and grandpa's house for a couple nights, or to visit another relative, or friend for a sleep over.

Then lock the door, unplug the telephone, and prepare to fall in love with your partner all over again.

Breakfast in bed does not have to be a huge extravagant meal. It is romantic just to have someone serve you breakfast in bed.

A meal as simple as scrambled eggs, or coffee, toast, and honey, is very romantic when you serve it up to your spouse in bed. Sprinkle some tiny cinnamon hearts on your breakfast tray. Place a red rose, or carnation on the tray, and serve breakfast in bed to the one that you love.

Take the day off work and just spend the day relaxing with the one that you love. You can read the newspaper together, work on crossword puzzles together, wrestle, or watch television.

The point of staying in on this day is that you are spending it relaxing with your partner. Just the two of you, hiding away from the rest of the world, together.

Put on some romantic music. Light the scented candles, fill the tub with bubbles, and crawl in with the person you love. Let the warm water and the perfumed scent of roses or jasmine fill the air around you. Wash her toes and let her wash yours.

A relaxing soak together can really serve to re-ignite the romantic flames of a relationship. So turn your bathroom into a relaxing romantic spa experience for the two of you on the day of your home date together.

If you have a friend or relative who is willing to do you a very large favor then hire them to act as a butler or maid for you on your special day. Their job will be to show up to serve you breakfast in bed, your evening dinner, or both. You decide the roll they will play in your romantic home date scenario.

Provide your butler or maid with a key to your house. Set a time when they are to arrive, and prepare to dine about one hour after they arrive in your home. To Insure that this arrangement is done with the utmost of dignity, your butler or maid should be decked out in fine black or white attire.

If you have planned for this person to serve breakfast then they will cook the meal, serve it to you on trays, do the dishes, and then quietly exit the house so you are able to carry on with your romantic day together.

The evening meal would be orchestrated in much the same way. Your maid or butler would arrive in the afternoon to prepare, and serve, the evening meal. The maid or butler would once again be dressed to the nines in a classy black outfit. You and your spouse would also be required to dress in your best for this date night.

The table would be set with your finest dishes, candlelight and wine. The butler or maid would then cook and serve your meal. After doing the dishes the hired help would quietly leave the house so your Valentine evening is shared by only the two of you.

Of course keep in mind that it is totally your option if you choose to just stay in your pajamas for the entire special day together. If so, just be sure that the maid or butler is dressed to the nines when he or she serves your stylish romantic meal.

Open up that fine bottle of wine that you have been saving for a perfectly romantic occasion. Pull the cheese and cracker tray out of the fridge, lay a blanket on the floor, and toss a couple of cozy cushions down there too.

There is no occasion more romantic than when the two of you are alone together, so pop the top on that bottle, get down on the floor, and snuggle up in front of the fireplace with the one that you love.

A roaring crackling fire in the hearth spells out warmth, security, and safety. These are all messages that you want to portray to your spouse. So snuggle up, whisper with nothings to each other, and light a fire in the one that you love.

Let your spouse know that you love her even more today than you did on the day when you first met. Propose to her once more.

For the ultimate home date at home nothing can be more romantic than offering up your heart to the one that you love. Promise to love her forever by renewing your marriage vows.
