Cutting Rope Light

There are many Rope Light Instructions available to ensure a prefect cut. Cutting rope light is very easy, and can be done with just a pair of kitchen shears. There a specific guidelines that need to be followed to ensure a safe cut is made. Every rope light has cut marks at regular intervals - typically every 12" - 24". Cuts can only be made on the cut marks, and the rope light should be turned on to heat up the rope, but unplugged prior to making a cut. This ability to cut rope ligt as needed makes rope light the versatile product that it is.
