I have a 4 year old son who will be attending kindergarten soon. I wanted him to get a head start on learning before he entered school. Although I wanted him to learn something, I did not want to make it boring. Kids won't want to learn if they find learning boring. So I set out on finding a toy that would be fun and educational. I happened upon Rory's Story Cubes while searching online. Based on the stellar reviews that this toy gets, I thought that this was exactly what I wanted.
Rory's Story Cubes is a simple game that is big on creativity. There are nine dice each with a different picture on the face of the dice. You roll the dice and create a story according to the pictures that show up. You may think that this is an easy and boring game but it is very fun indeed. It actually provides some challenge because kids have to think about how to use the pictures in their story and be able to link the pictures into a coherent story. This game is definitely good for kids 3 and older. Actually, adults would probably like this too. I have enjoyed playing this game with my friends. It's a great way to connect with your kids.
Rory's Story Cubes will provide hours of fun for your kids. It one of the few toys where you could play it many times and the outcome would always be different. It is very open ended. Kids will get to use their imagination and their speech and listening will improve. My kid really loves this game and I can see the improvement in his speech ever since getting him the game. You and your kids will not be disappointed with this game. Not only is it fun but it is also inexpensive.
