Rose Elliot: Vegetarian Cook and Writer
British vegetarian Rose Elliot is the undisputed queen bee of vegetarian cooking as well as an active supporter of several vegetarian organisations including VIVA, The Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation and The Vegetarian Society. She has published numerous brilliant, easy to follow vegetarian recipe books which are an essential fixture in many vegetarian kitchens. A vegetarian since the tender age of three years old, when she's not cooking she has a keen interest in astrology and is a prominent supporter of Compassion in World Farming and Oxfam. She was awarded the MBE in 1999 for services to vegetarian cookery.
