Rottweiler Training

The Rottweiler or Butcher's Dog, is a medium to large size dog breed that originated in Germany as a herding dog. It is a very intelligent and strong breed. Rottweiler breeders aim for a dog with plentiful strength, strong black coat with sharp tan markings, and which is extremely well-suited as a companion and working dog.

The Rottweiler is an extremely versatile breed used for many purposes, but is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, of the herding breeds. An abundantly skilled herding dog of exceptional qualities and is capable of working all kinds of livestock under a wide variety of conditions.

Rottweiler Dog Training

The Rottweiler is good natured with a calm disposition and he is normally very fond of children. He is very devoted, obedient, and eager to work. His behaviour is self-assured, steady and fearless. He will react to his surroundings with great alertness. This makes for a great dog training experience. Rottweiler training should begin at an early age forming good habits for a lifelong obedient dog whether he is for work or family. It is important to be firm, patient and consistent with a Rottweiler.
