Super Roulette Strategy

A few roulette hints and tips and different strategies rolled into one super strategy to beat the wheel. At any casino, in real life or online.

Roulette Strategy: Sequences

If you are betting against the wheel, sequences are important. I wait for
six of a kind or for patterns of six from the even chances. There are far
more patterns involving six without being as obvious as six Reds or six
Lows. This helps resist the temptation of not waiting for six.

Roulette Strategy: The Dozens

On the Dozens, I wait for at least three in just one Dozen - I call it
three-in-a-bed. If I saw the last four numbers had been 2, 8, 5 and 1, I
would usually place a bet on the top 24 numbers - 13 to 36. If I saw 25, 33, 26 and 36, I would bet on 1 to 24. If I saw 14, 16, 14 and 23, I would bet on
1 to 12 and 25 to 36. This is betting against the wheel.

Roulette Strategy: Sequence of 6

A sequence can be as simple as:

  • Six Reds;

  • Six Blacks;

  • Six Odds;

  • Six Evens;

  • Six Highs;

  • Six Lows.

  • However, there are other interesting sequences. I look out for symmetry
    - any pattern, which is so perfect that, under my law of reality, it cannot
    continue. Just as a run of Reds will not last to infinity, so, other patterns will
    not last. I will give you some examples:

    1R-23R-8B-24B-7R-30R-2B-22B.

    The last number was 22B. This sequence would interest me for two
    reasons. Try to spot them before you read on.
    It is a sequence of Low, High, Low, High which has occurred eight
    times. It is just as unusual to have a sequence of Low and High alternating
    as it is for eight consecutive high or eight consecutive low numbers to
    appear. But there is another sequence worth a bet. Can you spot that one
    too?

Roulette Strategy: Killing the Sequences

So what would I do? There are two attractive bets.

  • The last number was 22B, so I would bet on High, betting that the
    sequence must end with two high numbers in a row. If my first bet
    proves wrong because the next number is 2B, then my second bet
    would be on Low, betting on two consecutive low numbers to kill
    the sequence. If that lost, I would bet on High again and so on.

  • The second interesting bet here is that the last eight numbers
    have been a pattern of two Reds, two Blacks, two Reds, and two
    Blacks. The last number was 22B. That is too perfect to continue
    and so I would bet on Black to kill the sequence by three Blacks in
    a row appearing. If that lost, then I would bet on Black again to kill
    the sequence, as there would not then be two Reds in a row. If
    that lost and two Reds appeared, then the next bet would be on
    Red to get to three Reds and so on.

I would attack both sequences at the same time with both bets being
tried at once and I would continue for up to four attempts to win on
each. Beyond that, I might give up, convinced the dealer is stuck in
such a footprint it may go on far longer than I want to risk.

Here is another example of a sequence:

3R-5R-29B-25R-16R-10B-27R-00-34R-4B

The last number was 4B. This sequence would interest me for two
reasons. Try to spot them before you read on. You will see that 00
struck. I ignore both 0 and 00 when looking for sequences. It is as if
they had never happened.

  • The less obvious pattern is two Reds followed by one Black and
    then two Reds again. This pretty pattern involving nine numbers
    just cannot last. My first bet would be on Black to kill the sequence
    by creating two Blacks in a row. If Red came again, then my next
    bet would also be on Black because that would put a stop to the
    two Reds, one Black sequence by only one Red appearing. If I
    were again wrong, I would then bet on Red because the pattern
    would be broken by the third Red.

  • The other bet (which I would also place at the same time) would
    be to kill off the run of two Lows, two Highs. These have created a
    run of 9 with the next bet being on High to end the pattern. If the
    run continued, the next bet would be on Low to kill the pattern with
    3 consecutive low numbers. And so it would go on.

Here is another example of a sequence.

23R-25R-34R-19R-34R-25R-36R.

The last number is 36R. This gives three options:

  • A bet on Black to kill the run of seven Reds; or

  • A bet on Low to kill the run of high numbers; or

  • A bet on 1 to 24 following three numbers in the top Dozen.

NB: So long as you have sufficient funds, why not bet on them all?

You can. The bet on 24 numbers is the least attractive as it is better to await four numbers in one Dozen.

Here is another example:

4B-6B-22B-20B-8B-24B-28B-2B.

The last number is 2B. This gives two options:

  • A bet on Red to kill the run of Blacks, or

  • A bet on Odd to kill the run of Evens.

You can bet on both. Do you recall why I will never bet on both Red and
Even at the same time and refuse to bet on Black and Odd together? If
not, re-read it. This example is a classic for betting on both Red and
Odd. Why? Because there is a Red due/overdue and Odd also is
due/overdue. There are more red odds than red evens. In short, this is
an excellent chance of both bets winning.
