Round Headed Man

I had to laugh the other day; I was looking for information on the Internet for details about the Roundheads. For those non English, that is the name given to the army who fought against King Charles I in the English Civil War. They eventually won which led to the eventual beheading of Charles's head.

Anyway to cut a long story short, I found a post about a Round Headed Man who watches cruise ships come in at Southampton in England. The site says it is an in-house joke between two former colleagues, however someone has picked up on it and all of a sudden it is on one of the cruise critic boards.

Could this be just another marketing ploy, aka the 13 year old boy who stole a credit card to pay for prostitutes, which made world news including national newspapers and TV news? Or is it for real?

My feelings are, rather like a couple of people on the cruise critic post, that this is just a market ploy. But how great is that? One post and you can make someone, well almost anyone famous! Good luck to them. If it is about marketing then it must be for the Cruises or Cruise Holidays sites the company, Drabdesign are working for.
