Round Rock is a fast-growing city north of Austin.
And yes, it's named after a round rock. See the picture?
Although Round Rock has seen amazing growth in the last 20 years, it still maintains its own identity, especially in the downtown section. Still, much of its growth is in the form of chain restaurants and big box retail stores. Many people are happy to shop at the Ikea store. Me, I'm not convinced that it's all it's cracked up to be.
