Round 2 Rocket Mom lenses by Superwife

I graduated from Rocket Moms! Yay!

I was highly honored to get to be a part of the very first installment of Rocket Moms, only to fizzle out since I couldn't get my act together and get my assignments done. But not this time, I was determined to graduate!

Here is a lensography of my "round two" assignments for Rocket Moms.

Yay me and go Rocket Moms!

Assignment #1 - Do an "about me" lens

I'm not quite sure exactly who I am yet really, so lets just visit my shop.

Superficial as it may be, I chose to use my Cafe Press shop for this assignment. It was easy, and I knew that I had a lot of work ahead of me!

Really though, I love this particular photograph I worked with for this shop and I hope you like it too.

I made sure to add a section where you can add your Cafe Press shop to this lens also, and I hope you will!

Assignment #2 - Make a "niche" lens

My problem is that I like everything and its hard to choose just one niche.

To go along with my tropical love, I made this one about tropical themed all natural candles. It isn't going to keep you on the edge of your seat, but its pretty. :)

Assignment #3 - Create a "top 10" lens

Do I actually know 10 of anything?

Surprisingly enough, I did know 10 of something and it turned out pretty darn good. Again, not going to keep you biting your nails in suspense here but its good looking. This Andy Warhol lens was totally fun.

What a totally fun group of girls. Supportive and really nice too. And they let me have a cool badge.

Assignment #4 - A Holiday lens

Hmmm. Now what's a holiday that hasn't been done yet...

I never thought I'd get any feedback at all on this one but this lens got more hits than any of my other lenses! Who'd of thunk it.

Assignment #4 (advanced) - Write an "acknowledgment" lens

I knew right away who to acknowledge here.

There are a gazillion weight loss pages online, but still I thought I'd share my own journey from jiggle to firm.

Jillian is one tough cookie when it comes to working out.

Assignment #5 - Make a "recipe" lens

Oh no. I'm no good at recipes.

But I know how to mix drinks! So there you have it.

Assignment #6 - "Travel" lens

I want to go so many places but have not traveled very far so here is my dream vacation.

This was a very fun lens to create and I see several more like it in my future!

Assignment #7 - Do a "charity" lens

Gladly.

I feel like this lens ended up being so disjointed and not fluent at all so I fully intend to work on it extensively but here is the rough draft.

Get organized and jot down thoughts for writing on Squidoo.

Don't forget those fabulous ideas!

So as I've gotten more and more hooked on writing here on Squidoo, I've discovered that in making all these lenses I start thinking of other great lenses to do but then I forget most of it before I get around to actually doing it and so I have to force myself to WRITE IT DOWN.

This has helped me tremendously.

But I've also found that I LOVE Sharpie pens. Seriously. They are wonderful! Hey. Don't take my lens idea.

    Yep, writing lens ideas down is crucial - I have a large note book permanently located on my desk plus a smaller one in my purse. Well done on completing all the assignments!
