In the early 1980s I was a young graphic designer working for a small company that publishes expensive albums for stamp collectors. The Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana collectible postage stamps issued by nations from around the world was impressive and enormous. Kenmore Stamp Company published several unique specialized collectibles including beautifully illustrated commemorative albums featuring photographs and worldwide mint postage stamps plus first day covers with specially designed silk cachets.
I got "hooked" on the Royal Family while doing all the research and creative design for those pieces, and I've followed the ups and downs of the Royal Family ever since.
