Great Royal Weddings

The Queen first met her future husband in 1934 at Prince Phillip's cousins wedding. They later met again in 1939 at the Naval College in Dartmouth. Elizabeth realised that at thirteen she had fallen in love with Phillip. They wrote to one another and then in 1946 Phillip asked the King if he could have his daughters hand in marriage. The King wanted the engagement to be kept quiet until Elizabeth turned 21 years old.
They were then married on November 20th, 1947.

The fairytale of the fifties. A hollywood actress marrying the Prince of Monaco. Grace met the Prince when she was asked to do a photo shot at the Palace in Monaco. After returning home to America, she started writing to the Prince, some six months later the Prince arrived in America for a tour, so he saids. Many thought he was there to find a wife. After three days he proposed to Grace, they were married April 19, 1956.

They had three children, Princess Caroline, Prince Albert and Princess Stephanie.

In September 1982, Grace and her daughter, Stephanie, were involved in a car accident. It is not clear what happened, many think it was murder but it is thought she had a stroke and crashed down a mountain side. Later dying in hospital.

What a beautiful day it turned out to be. I sat and watched every last second of the wedding. Truly brought tears to my eyes.
Kate Middleton's dress was simple and stunning all at once, not over the top as was Lady Di's, but then that was what was in fashion in the 80's.

Prince William looked very dashing, as was Prince Harry. Nothing like a man in uniform.

But for some unknown reason everyones eyes were on Kate's sister, the bridesmaid. Dressed in a beautiful straight lined, off white, very plain bridesmaid dress. If only we all looked that good. Kate could not have imagined the total amount of attention that Pippa would get from wearing that gown.
Out shone her sister, perhaps, but really, Kate was the true Princess. I am sure that she will go down as being one of the great ladies of the world. Truly make William very proud.

This is a nice photo of some of the royal family and others. The Queen looks quite lovely in yellow, would say it suits her complexion.
Prince Charles, well I wouldn't say dashing but quite smart in uniform.
