The Royal Hawaiian Hotel in 1952
Known as "The Pink Palace of the Pacific" this historic hotel symbolizes the romance and beauty of the Hawaiian Islands.
While once it stood out as the "Big Pink Building" on Waikiki Beach, today it is hidden between skyscraping high-rises. But it's still pink and it's still a "Palace".
The Royal Hawaiian Hotel, now operated by Sherton Hotels & Resorts, still offers beautiful views of Diamond Head and the glorious Pacific Ocean.You can see Diamond Head peaking out over the top of the hotel's right side.
