So what qualities do you need?
Well there are no formal qualifications; no usual succession into the job, there is no any kind of training that can prepare you. The only things you need is to be able to think quickly on your feet about recruitment process outsourcing- RPO solutions, to be able to sell, have a nose for gossip, an ability to talk to people and get them to open up, a need to win and to be capable to take many, many knock backs.
Why would you want to be a RPO solutions recruiter?
There is only one reason,Money. There is no other big business (other than political affairs) where someone with no qualifications can make a lot of money. There are very few people who get into this business with admirable intent of wanting to help employees with the help of recruitment process outsourcing solutions.
So what's it like?
RPO it's a very hard job, in fact one that you are never able to switch off, for example I am always listening to people to hear what they do for a living and if it's relevant to me either them as a candidate or who they work for.
In the first two years you can expect low pay, and bad conditions. For instance in the first year you can expect to work 10 or 12 hours days. After a few years in the business you are able to relax but you can never take your foot off the pedal as there is always some young buck ready to take your place.
There are a lot of highs and a lot of lows in recruitment process outsourcing- RPO Services. But the highs are very high and the lows, very low. For example the day your client calls you to say that they are cutting heads in the business and the first to go are your 10 contractors.
So what's the first step?
In RPO the first entry point is as a hire a recruiter.
A hiring the recruiter is the best thing to get exact outputs from the recruitment process outsources. Hired recruiter will spends his/her time calling employees try to fill jobs and you'll be there long after the recruiter have gone home or convincing the employees as well as client.
Then you'll move up to recruiters where you'd start to bring in Clients. That's when life gets really tough. One thing to stand in mind is that 55% of all people that enter recruitment leave within the first year.
This means that there is actually a shortage of specialized recruiters attached with the fact that in industries like IT and telecoms there is a localized downturn, which means people don't want to even get started in the industry%u2026%u2026 Would you?

Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) is a form of business process outsourcing (BPO) where an employer outsources or transfers all or part of its recruitment activities to an external service provider.
The Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association defines RPO as follows: "when a provider acts as a company's internal recruitment function for a portion or all of its jobs. RPO providers manage the entire recruiting/hiring process from job profiling through the on-boarding of the new hire, including staff, technology, method and reporting. A properly managed RPO will improve a company's time to hire, increase the quality of the candidate pool, provide verifiable metrics, reduce cost and improve governmental compliance."Rpoa Rfp
The RPO Alliance, a group of the Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA), approved this definition in February 2009: "Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) is a form of business process outsourcing (BPO) where an employer transfers all or part of its recruitment processes to an external service provider. An RPO provider can provide its own or may assume the company's staff, technology, methodologies and reporting. In all cases, RPO differs greatly from providers such as staffing companies and contingent/retained search providers in that it assumes ownership of the design and management of the recruitment process and the responsibility of results."HROA Special Interest Group Publishes Definition of RPO, Feb. 19, 2009
Occasional recruitment support, for example temporary, contingency and executive search services is more analogous to out-tasking, co-sourcing or just sourcing. In this example the service provider is "a" source for certain types of recruitment activity.differentiating between RPO and other types of staffing The biggest distinction between RPO and other types of staffing is Process. In RPO the service provider assumes ownership of the process, while in other types of staffing the service provider is part of a process controlled by the organization buying their services.
