I grew up spending summers on a lake in Pennsylvania and have fond memories of berry picking. We would take the boat out in the spring and dock about half a mile down in a big field and go strawberry picking. Then mom would make jam. In the late summer, we picked blueberries all along the shore of the lake. We'd head out early in the morning with some buckets, and then we'd have blueberry pancakes for breakfast.
