Hike Runyon Canyon in Hollywood

Runyon Canyon is a great hiking spot right in Hollywood in the middle of Los Angeles! The main hike is approximately three miles round trip. There are several other trails as well. Highlights of Runyon Canyon include spectacular views (including, on clear days, the Pacific Ocean), the fact that it is a dog-friendly park, and occasional celebrity sightings. Runyon Canyon is Great for Dogs!

Runyon Canyon is a very dog-friendly park. There are frequent water stations with bowls for dogs along the hike. There are also a number of sections of the park where dogs are allowed to run or hike off-leash (these sections are clearly marked). Dog owners are requested to clean up after their dogs. There are several garbage cans and waste bag stations along the hike to make this easy. If your dog loves to hike outdoors and is friendly with other dogs, Runyon Canyon is a great place to be!

How to Get to Runyon Canyon

Runyon Canyon is just west of the 101 Hollywood Freeway, two blocks from Hollywood Blvd. There are entrances on Fuller Ave., Vista St., and off Mulholland Drive. Limited street parking is available on Fuller Avenue. There is a small parking lot (pictured) off Mulholland Drive.
