- Very interesting . . . The closest I have come was ferrying supplies to an orphanage via cruise ship, and spending time with the children during the day the cruise ship was in that port... on several occasions. That was a super experience.

- I think rural tourism would be the most special way of learning about a culture, doing the ordinary things of the day and being able to stay in private homes with families would truly enrich the experience.

- This is such a brilliant insight on promoting rural tourism, there is a need to promote without really disturbing their life style and can be a great way of increasing revenue.

- This is a subject close to my heart. Living in a rurul area in a prosperous country, We really value our own tourism, and know just what a valuable tool for communities rural tourism is. Blessed by a SquidAngel and added to my Angel lens.

- I would love to experience a trip like this. Getting off the beaten track is always the type of holiday I enjoy most. Here in Australia that is exactly what we do. Of course it's not the same as experiencing a new culture but you meet so many interesting characters.
