The Founder, Russ Berrie
Russ Berrie (1933 - 2002) founded the Russ Berrie company from a rented garage in 1963.Having a real, warm side, he was aware of what children loved, and proceeded to create some of the most loved plush and other toys that are still loved to this day.
The company honors it's founder by maintaining the same perfect standards and attention to detail with it's current creation of children's toys and other product lines.
