The Creepy Hut on Chicken Legs
If you ever find yourself standing puzzled in front of Baba Yaga's creepy hut on thicken legs surrounded by gruesome fence made of human bones and skulls, remember to say the magical phrase in perfect Russian as following: "Izbushka, izbushka, povernis k lesy zadom a ko mne peredom."
Inside Baba Yaga's hut on chicken legs there is a huge boiling cauldron with bubbling stew of human bones.
Unlike other famous witches around the world, Baba Yaga does not travel by magical broomstick. Instead, Baba Yaga flies around in a giant mortar and uses her broom to sweep away the tracks she leaves behind.
Baba Yaga in Russian Fairy Tales and Fables

Baba Yaga's Fantasy Land
Baba Yaga is such a feared witch in Russia, that she has been relentlessly depicted in many Russian fairy tales, stories and fables. Even the greatest Russian writer named Aleksandr Pushkin included Baba Yaga in his numerous poems and fairy tales. Take a look at one of Alexandr Pushkin's fantasy poems named "Ruslan and Lyudmila":Wonders are there, wood spirits roaming,
Mermaids from branches hang their tail,
On paths of which no one has knowledge
Of unseen beasts there lurk the spoors,
On chicken legs a hut is set
Without a door, without a window,
An evil witch's lone retreat.
There, in a mortar, onward sweeping
All of itself, beneath the skies
The wicked Baba-Yaga flies.
