Trees for Rocks

thats what I traded, and still trading,
Douglas Fir seedlings for mineral specimens, they are seconds, thus not suitable for folks that might have plenty of coin.
that ain't me

In the trade was a double fist sized chunk of quartz with a hole drilled in the bottom, it was gonna be a driveway light and the Economy had differant ideas.

Anyhow, I got one of them bigger chunks to play with, washed it with soap and water, soaked it in muriatic acid to get rid of the rust, then gave them (the thumb sized crystals too) a three day rinse in water & baking soda.

in the next few days I should have a nifty little blue LED gizmo to put inside the hole, haven't tried blue yet, but it looked great with red.
