Introducing Rusty Quill

Legend has it Rusty was born with an eagle feather quill solidly clenched in his tiny fingers and an old bottle of rusty dark ink lodged firmly on his left foot. But then again legends have a way of getting out of hand which his mother will attest to as it was not an eagle feather but the feather of a red-breasted Grosbeak - less glamorous but no less bizarre.

Squidoo is the procrastinators love shack; and when I, Rusty though I may be, find myself needing to get some work done I'll head on over here instead and make a crazy new lens on whatever quirky little tid bits I dream up at night while listening to the bed bug circus beneath the sheets.

Brandelic Artistry
A fun whimsical romp in the art world. A couple of artists with a quirky sense of humor and great art too. Lots of great drawings, photography, and jewelry. Buy some art for your wall and tell them Rusty sent ya - they'll say who? But tell them anyway.
Earth Friendly Goodies
Here is another fine site from the crazy eco-geeks at Brandelic Artistry. If you love to read about, and buy eco-friendly products you'll love Earth Friendly Goodies. They blog about, review and offer for sale lots of fun earth friendly goodies. Look for a few healthy living tips, tricks, and recipes thrown in to boot!
Sunset Classics - Classic Car Auctions
Do you love classic cars? Well, then this is the site for you. Sunset Classics is the place to go if you are looking to buy or sell a classic car, or if you just love looking at expensive classic car photos and video. And the site design is rather spiffy if I do say so myself (hmmm I wonder who the designer is?)
Left Coast Classics
Another great classic car web site, absolutely beautiful classic car photography, and quite a selection of cars for sale. Check out the classic cars sold gallery too!
Minneapolis Music and the Twin City Music Scene
minneapolismusic.com is a web site featuring musicians and venues from the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Find great legends of music such as Bob Dylan and Prince as well as the new up and coming artists like Atmosphere and Mason Jennings. Or if you are in the buying mood they offer concert and event tickets and music gear for sale. Now includes a brand new guitar auction section!
Vintage VW Cars and Buses for Sale
vintagevwcars.com is a web site devoted to the restoration and sale of vintage Volkswagens and parts. If you are into vintage VW Bugs, Beetles, Buses or Karmann Ghias this is a site you'll want to check out! The site includes photo galleries, forums, VW stories, and restoration project photos.
Writing.com
Writing.com is a great online writing community for those who love to write or for those who love to find new original stuff to read. The site has developed over the years into a very large interactive supportive group of writers who love to develop their craft through interaction with fellow writers.
Row Three
If you are into movies Row Three is the place to go. Great movie review site - kept very current with all the latest opinions on indie films to blockbusters. The site is in the blog format so don't be afraid to partake in the discussion leave your opinions and feedback - hey movie critics don't always get it right!
Classroom Discipline Blog
If you are a teacher struggling with unruly students (I swear kids these days!) this blog is the place to go. Real world experiences from a guy who's been teaching for 20 years in L.A.'s toughest schools. His book Classroom Discipline 101 is a must read as well.

    Love the snarky rusty quill writing style! So where on earth does a rusty quill live when he's playing left-handed guitars and restoring old cars? Got some hideout far off in the woods somewhere? Where does he dream up quirky little tid bits to write about "while listening to the bed bug circus beneath the sheets."

    Woke up to find myself in a power outage and without a hot cup of coffee.....just going to be one of those days I thought....
    Three hours later the power came on....and I opened up my mail box. Thanks so much for a good chuckle when I really needed one.
