About the Author, Barb Rees
Barb Rees is married to retiree Dave and is the mother of a blended family of nine and great-grandmother. She lives to make dreams come true - hers and others. With a positive outlook and infinite creative ideas, she inspires people around the globe. Author of her life-experience book, Lessons From the Potholes of Life, she also coaches other writers through retreats and her writers' group Sassyscribes. Founder of the annual Powell River Festival of Writers is but one of her many accomplishments. But when she suggested to Dave that they work their way across Canada by selling at markets to pay for the trip, he wasn't too sure. By the time they returned home three months later, he was sold on working holidays. barb founded her own company Dreams Inspirations Seminars - a speaking/writing company that helps people live their dreams. Whether speaking at Toastmasters, writing or shooting great photos, she lives to "Inspire the world, one person at a time."
