My Squidoo Lensmaster Lensographies

As the Squidoo lensmaster known as Rwoman I have created an awful lot of lenses. I am a bit addicted to Squidoo lens creation. I hate to even number them as I'm constantly adding more new ones all the time. I have lenses in six broad areas: family, marketing, money, self improvement, trivia, and writing. This lensography features the lensographies I have created for each of these areas.

In 2007 I joined Squidoo for SEO and Squidoo backlinks for my internet marketing business, but while I have put that business on the back shelf I continue as a Squidoo lensmaster. Why? Three reasons really. I really enjoy the social networking on Squidoo and my Squidoo earnings aren't too bad either. However, for me, it is really about the Squidoo lens creation that fills an important need in me. I have always been a writer and now my professional focus is more on teaching, research, and administration so Squidoo helps me stay in touch with the writer within.

Why do you Squidoo?

Do I have too many lenses?

With my 300 lens trophy now gathering dust and the creation of 20 lensographies just to keep track of all those lenses (just to put the question in perspective)...

You can never have enough

vermontmom says:

I don't see why that's too many. So long as you have something else to share - go for it. I'm sure you'll know if there's ever a time to stop doing it.

JanezKranjski says:

As long as you have fun doing them, keep on going.

lbos114 says:

I have 6, working on my 7th, quickly becoming my best yet... I plan on having hundreds myself 1 day :D My areas will be holiday's and music... For now :) Keep going!

Bus_Stop_Toy_Shop says:

If you're still enjoying making lenses, then keep going - I'm with you in the 300+ club :) The earnings start to mount, don't they...

Jhangora says:

No, there are lensmasters with well over 1 K lenses ... Keep going ...

Perhaps it is time to slow down

kal313 says:

I think the question is: Are these adding to your life or taking away from it? I suppose I'd follow that up with: Do you ever sleep? (Giggle)

Margo_Arrowsmith says:

Well, it depends on why you have them all. If you tagged them right, it will get you more net presence.

But just creating them for no reason? It all depends on what you want here.

I need a lensography to keep track of my lensographies

Bus_Stop_Toy_Shop says:

Yep, I've got a lensography of lensographies :)

ajgodinho says:

I love lensographies, but at the moment I don't have so many lenses to make a lensography of my lensographies! :)

skiesgreen says:

I have done a few and they are good for directing people to lenses that fit the same theme. Definitely serve a purpose.

Spartak says:

I too think that every lensmaster should have his lensography lens. As few authors already said: it's easier to categorize your content and you can promote the whole lensography as well - not just single lens.

fanfreluche says:

I love them, a great way to check out other lensmaster work all neatly arranged. I currently have 2 myself, a regular lensography and a "blessography" (my blessed lenses)

What's a lensography?

Margo_Arrowsmith says:

Well, they are fine and if you have a lot of lenses you clearly need some organization. They can't hurt
