You will keep hearing that you need to be testing your marketing and continually adapting it to what works best.
Great idea but testing takes a) time b) a lot of traffic to get statistically significant results and c) a lot of patience.
The 43 Split Test program from Ryan Deiss - which was done with Perry Belcher - tells you what works best for them.
yes you should still be testing but now you have some best practice guidelines to test against.
If Ryan says a particular red works best for headlines but you want blue, then you can split test both and see the results for yourself. If it makes much difference and red is best, then perhaps you'll change your mind on which you like best.
