Mandalas and Sacred Geometries
There is geometry in the places we live and have our being. There are some who believe that this geometry can be manipulated in ways that are harmoniously resonant with our own bodies and spirits and with nature and higher realms.
Divine Architecture
In some belief systems mandalas and sacred circles are blue prints for divine habitations. So that in meditation an adept or an acolyte is either building the houses of holy or contemplating aspects of the divine.Some believe that the proper and appropriate contemplation of a mandala can bring a troubled mind safely from the world of illusion to the world of enlightenment and inner peace. As you might expect, the viewer's journey starts at the outer circumference and then spirals into the mysteries that lie within.
