Angela Harms
I am a spark of the divine fire. So are you.
Some of our fellow-sparks are disconnected from the One. My life's purpose is to draw connections, and to tell the truth with love. Every day, I pray for the courage to do it.
My education is in philosophy, and I am a critical rationalist. I am a wife, lover, best friend and soulmate, and I'm also a mother and friend to four wonderful boys. I love words, and I love color. My public face can be seen at my website, Angela Harms, Editor.
My current obsessions
- the Living Spirit of the Universe
- writing
- editing
- authenticity
- karate-do
- old-time music
- compassion
- toddler-ness
- zen
- squidoo
- poetry

The Citizen Squid Blog
The Citizens Squid are the worst of the Squidoo addicts. And we like to talk a lot. Here's what we've had to say recently.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull
I first read this book when I was in about third grade. I loved it then, and I love it more and more as I get older.
Tenshi Mama
My personal blog
One day (soon?) I'll split this into two blogs, one on writing and one on Fibromyalgia and Karate. But for now, they're both here. :)
Fetching RSS feed... please stand byMy lenses on Squidoo
I'm down to just these three!
- Resources for Writers
- This lens is related to my real-life job and website, Resources for Writers: Angela Harms, Editor. I hope it's a little friendlier. :)
- Fibromyalgia and Exercise: Are you kidding?
- Exercise will help, they tell us. But how are you supposed to exercise when you can't even figure out how to brush your teeth and your hair on the same day?
- This one, of course
- Then there's this one. 'Nuff said.
My political stuff on Squidoo
politics and tv, politics and movies, politics and school...
- The Illuminati Code
- Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.
- Terrorism and War: What the heck is going on here?
- Iraq.. Lebanon.. Iran.. Syria? What's next?
- Patrick McGoohan's The Prisoner
- I am not a number! I am a free man!
- V for Vendetta: an easy and cool costume
- Deep down, you are V. You might as well dress the part.
- Real World Learning
- Real World Learning is an unschooling page, with links to homeschool information and cool things to do with your family.
My toddler TV stuff on Squidoo
- Toddler TV
- This page doesn't have much, except for links to my other kids' tv pages. But it's good for keeping those together.
- Barney
- This lens is not recommended for children. Not toddler-sized ones, anyway.
- Yo Gabba Gabba
- This is one of the craziest kids shows I've seen. Sort of New Zoo Review meets PeeWee's Playhouse? It's a new show, and its creators are hoping to get it on the air, so hype is everywhere.
- Teletubbies!
- Aw, c'mon. You know you want to look.
- Boohbah!
- I didn't think those Teletubbies people could possibly find more drugs to do, but apparently they have.
- Little Bear
- This is, I have to say, the best kids show ever created. Really.
Homegrrlz on Squidoo
The coolest LensMistresses
- Cheryl Stephens
- If your writing is convoluted or stuffy, you need to get to know this woman. She can save you!
- Margaret Shaut
- Margaret is the new owner of the vast majority of my lenses. Visit, and give her some love! :)
- JaNell Golden
- She appears sophisticated, but has a rude sense of humor. A creative and beautiful woman, JaZilla is a SciFi geek, writer, and something of a discordian. What more could you ask for?
- Rachel Schwarz
- Rachel, or Relache, is a bold woman with more squidoo lenses than I can count, on diverse topics from pretty hairdos to what to do with a foot fetish. She is unchristian, and sex positive. So stay away from her! Unless that sort of thing turns you on...
- Damon Hedman
- Damon teaches school, and appears to be some sort of republican or something, and yet, I find him somehow amusing. (At least he's not a democrat!) Note: He never did tell me what kind of political animal he is.
- Oniyagi
- Also not a girl, but still a homegirl. This guy is into martial arts, William Gibson, homebirth, and lots of other cool stuff.
- Kimberly Dawn Wells
- Back to an actual girl-homegirl. Kimberly is a busy, optimistic and powerful young woman who is taking the world by storm!
Leave me a love note!

Hi Angela,
I enjoyed your lens. As a Christian and a Real Estate Broker in Eugene, OR. I was wondering if you live in this area. I saw you post a comment on a Eugene lens. If you do, would you be interested in writing articles about the Eugene area. If interested, contact me from my website.

Angela - I love your openness and vibrant approach to life. I think you and Kimberly are sister-spirits in this regard. Great lens - loved the Homegrrlz bit!

Hey, Michael, sorry I'm late seeing this. But if you thought I posted about "intolerance of alleged terrorists" there was a miscommunication somewhere. Here's the post: http://blog.angelaharms.com/2006/terrorists-have-no-rights/
