The Best Safari Company in South Africa

The Kleinhans brothers provided us the most incredible adventure we could have asked for and over-delivered from the moment our flight landed until we reluctantly left 10 days later. JP and Mel Kleinhans, JP's wife Natia, and their very able guides and staff welcomed us warmly. (A third brother, Adolph, has a photo safari business nearby.) Full meals served family style, laundry done daily, a fully-stocked bar, and a safari experience I will never forget. Also important to note is JP Kleinhaus is a first-rate taxidermist.
We will be going back to South Africa next year!

Phillip's fascinating website

OK, a slight segue...to Southern California. If it wasn't for Don Nelson I would never have been included on the safari. Don has a fantastic deep-sea charter in Oceanside, California (near San Diego). Don has been fishing there forever and knows where to go, and he is a great, laid-back guy. Someone just caught a 453 lb. Thresher Shark May 8, 2007. When I went I got a free T-shirt. :0)
