Why i'll never use sleeping pills ever again
Find out why i stopped using sleeping pills
Insomnia can be very frustrating and difficult to live with. As an insomniac you'll know that the harder you try to fall asleep, the longer it takes. I know that it feels like you are slowly going insane when you lie in bed for hours on end waiting for sleep that never comes. After a few months I was so desperate that I decided to use sleeping pills, which turned out to be a huge mistake.
I finally decided to go and see my doctor and get some much needed help. During my appointment my doctor seemed disinterested in my symptoms and quickly wrote me a prescription for sleeping pills. He asked me very few questions and I was in an out of his office within 5 minutes. I was a little apprehensive about using sleeping pills, but I just wanted to be able to sleep again - so I started taking them that night.
It took me a few months to realise that these pills were actually making me worse after I read the sleeptracks review. Although the pills worked pretty well initially, they eventually became less effective. I suffered some mild side effects whilst using them and was even happy to put up with the fact that I felt like I had a hangover every day, but when they stopped working I decided enough was enough and stopped taking them - and I'm glad I did.
I suffered slight withdrawal symptoms, but I found that my insomnia was worse then ever. I still suffer from time to time but I would never use another sleeping pill ever again!
