Safety Trainers CPR and First Aid Training

The first link in the American Heart Association Chain of Survival in calling 9-1-1. There are four (4) basic questions that you will have to answer in the event that you make a 9-1-1 call.
1. What is your emergency?
2. What is going on now?
3. What is your location?
4. Provide a call back phone telephone number?

The first two questions determin who is coming to help you. Police, Fire, EMS, K9 Team etc...

The third question is the most important because the physical address is not always enough.

Are you on the first, second or third floor?
What door should I enter, is your door locked?
Are you in the back yard? Apartment complex with multiple entrances?

These are all factors that can effect the time the ambulance can take to get to you.
