Losing Weight Safely
I have tried plenty of ways to keep my weight off, lose weight and change my eating habits. Most have not worked.
2 years ago though I succeeded in getting my weight off, changing my image. Even now people comment on how good I look.
Not only do I look good I feel good!

Feeling like a blimp
If your clothes look like sacks on you or you are trying to squeeze into clothes that are too small for you then you are probably suffering with a lower self esteem as well.You probably are not happy with the way you look because if you were you would make more effort and dress for you size. This is an indication you probably need to change your eating habits.
Notice what I said "change your eating habits".
It is what you have been eating that has made your body the shape it is. What you are eating is also effecting how you are feeling mentally.
So you feel like a blimp. I did too. In fact I was incredibly unhappy with myself. I felt I had lost my spark and it was all to do with what and how I was eating.

No Magic Potions
If you want to lose weight quick you are silly. It will not help your eating habits and your weight loss will not be sustained.
First of all you really really want to commit to losing weight. If you are half hearted it will not happen.
What I did was start walking 2-3 times a week and have now joined a gym and do classes I like at least twice a week.
If you join a gym enjoy the experience. Go as a casual 1st and suss out if you like the people, the classess etc. If you don't like it find another one otherwise you will not stick with it.
I looked at what I was eating, when I was eating it. My biggest mistake was thinking food with fat was making me fat. Most often that is not the case. I just needed to balance my food with different types. I didn't surmise this myself though I used a diet plan to get going.
The object of losing weight is to be healthy. My goals have always been realistic. Lose weight, feel good and be healthy.

I love yummy food
My biggest problem is I love cooking and I love to eat so changing what I cooked was super important.I did however discover a kit that provided me with meal plans, recipes, exercise plan and more to help me get on the right track.
I found that not only it was really easy I was not having to cook separate meals for my husband as he could eat what I was eating.
It is a 30 day weight loss system that in 30 days helped me eliminate 6.5 kilos.
I then went on a maintenance program for another 30 days and lost more weight. Now whenever I feel I may be slipping with my weight I just refer back to my kit and do a maintenance program.
What I have gained from this change in eating pattern is renewed energy. I don't feel sluggish at the end of the day like I used to and I don't feel hungry. I can still eat the naughty food but in moderation.

After the Weight Loss
I had my long blond hair cut off and recolored. I went and bought new clothes 'cause the ones I had were now sacks on me.
I felt so incredible and I know I was glowing (and still do).
I go to the gym and do my favorite classes 2-3 times a week. I walk at least 2 mornings a week. When I feel my diet is getting slack I just pull in the reigns an refer back to the original weight loss maintenance for a week or 2.
Also if I start to feel sluggish I get into eating my main meal at lunch time and a snack at dinner time. It is easy to do - I cook for both of us at night and reheat/cook mine at work the next day. My energy levels are amazing when I do this.
The best thing is I am happy with my body. I don't want to be a size 10 if it is too hard for me to do. I love my curves but I hate being overly weighty so dropping to a size 10/12 is just fantastic.
