Dogs know how to live a happy uncomplicated life. They have truly attained Nirvana. Their world view is so simple .... and it works

I have three dogs, two German Shepherds and one Dacshund. They are truly my Gurus and have taught me the art of living

Here is what they have taught me :

If any thing has to be done, do it with gusto and enthusiasm. Dig that smelly bone out with total energy.

Practise obedience when it is in your best interest

Always be happy to see your family and friends, run and greet them with joy

Eat with great pleasure and enthusiasm. When you've had enough, stop.

Thrive on attention. Revel in the love and pats you get

Enjoy your play time and your exercise

When tired, throw yourself onto the floor/bed/couch and take a nap. Do it often and stretch when you wake up.

Never bite when a growl can bring the same results.

Let others know in no uncertain terms when they are invading your territory

Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you are not.

Remember, people are complicated and it causes them to have a bad time. Sit by them, show them love and affection and nuzzle them gently.
