A seven day itinerary
Great place to sail.
Here is an idea of all you can do in a seven day sail through The British Virgin Islands.Day 1: Road Harbour to Norman Island. You'll begin your sailing vacation in Road Harbour, Tortola, with an orientations, chart briefing and check-out of your yacht. Mid-day sail for The Bight, Norman Island.
Day 2: Norman Island to Marina Cay. Swim and explore the caves on Norman Island. Have lunch at Peter Island and sail on to Marina Cay or Trellis Bay.
Day 3: Marina Cay to Gorda Sound. Sail over to the famous Baths at Virgin Gorda. Snorkel and explore before lunch and then sail to Gorda Sound.
Day 4: Gorda Sound and Eustatia. Enjoy a leisurely day of exploring the Sound and snorkeling over the reefs. Dinghy over to nearby Eustatia Island.
Day 5: Gorda Sound to Cane Garden Bay. Sail to Cane Garden Bay on Tortola. Don't miss the rum distillery.
Day 6: Cane Garden Bay to Jost Van Dyke. Sandy Cay is your next stop. Sun, swim and have lunch on the beach. Snorkel over the reefs at Green Cay and sail on to Jost Van Dyke for the night.
Day 7: Jost Van Dyke to Peter Island. Sail up the Sir Francis Drake Channel to Peter Island or Cooper Island. Stop for lunch at Salt Island and dive or snorkel the wreck of The Rhone.
Final Morning: Return to Road Harbour. Sail back to Road Harbour for noon check-in of your yacht. Or maybe you'll want to stay and play forever. You wouldn't be the first to jump ship in paradise.
