Sailor Jupiter is a sailor senshi in the anime and manga known as Sailor Moon. She is one of the inner senshi and her attacks are earth based. Her attacks also invoke lightning, which was the power of Jupiter in Roman Mythology. In the Japanese series she is known as Makoto Kino which translates to "loyalty of the woods". In the English translation she is known as Lita, which may be a play on the name of Jupiter's moon, Leda.
