Saint Lucy, Patron Saint of Vision
Saint Lucy is the Catholic patron saint of vision. She is invoked for her healing intercession by those suffering eye disease. She is also the patroness of clarity of vision and purity of heart, which makes her a good person for an artist and writer, like me, who is seeking those goals in my work, to turn to.
Her feast day is December 13, which falls in Advent.
In Sweden, she is particularly celebrated as a patron of young girls and the charming custom of having the oldest daughter wearing a crown of candles brings breakfast to her parents shines light into the darkness of winter. Her symbol is a wheat sheaf.
I have dedicated this design to St. Lucy and will be happy to help you join the cafepress affiliate program if you belong to a parish dedicated to her and would like to use my products for a fund-raiser. Send me a comment to that effect in the guest-book below and I will get back to you.
Thank you so much to all of you who have visited this site and ordered this design through my shop. I am always so grateful.

- The links did not work for me either. I hope they are simply down for maintenance for the site still shows up in Google and in McAffee's site-advisor.
In the meantime, I found this for you, "Saint Lucy, your beautiful name signifies light. By your intercession, obtain for me perfect vision for my bodily eyes and the grace to use them for God's greater glory. Saint Lucy, hear my prayers and obtain my petitions. Amen."
— prayer to St. Lucy, patron saint of the blind
May St. Lucy intercede for you and the Lord bless you and keep you and restore you to perfect site. A blessed Advent to you.
