Set in Stilwater, a fictional city based heavily on the likes of Detroit and Chicago, the game begins with the protagonist (referred to as male in this article) waking up from a trauma-induced coma in a water-locked prison hospital, five years after being blown up aboard a yacht at the end of Saints Row. After successfully escaping the prison with the help of a fellow inmate, he returns to Stilwater to find that it has been heavily expanded due to the work of business corporation Ultor. The protagonist then resurrects the 3rd Street Saints, an urban crime gang to which he served in Saints Row, in a quest to reconquer the city, eliminate the three rival gangs who now control the streets of Stilwater, and to give retribution to those who betrayed him. The graphics are not that bad but I don't really care I just want to have fun and the game looks like It will be fun. Volition did what was expected, they differentiated, they made a crazy game whereas GTA IV, which I enjoyed, was more like an interactive mafia movie. You can't really compare, or can you?

Who is your favorite gang from SR2?
The Third Street Saints were scattered after the events of Saints Row. Once you get off the prison, you receive a small crib and can start working on taking out the NEW gangs that have populated Stillwater after Saints Row. The Ronin, are Japanese ninjas and my personal favorite gang.The Brotherhood, are tattooed lunatics and The Sons of Samedi, are a gang that has a constant purple haze around it.

Grand Theft Auto 4 vs. Saints Row 2
2 are VERY awesome games.....Tough choice, no doubt. For me, I wasn't expecting to say this but...I had more fun with saints row 2 then GTA4. There! i said it.Truth be told I wasn't as crazy about GTA4 as a lot of people were.

Ok I for one have to say that the graphics in GTA look much more real then in SR2,SR2's grahics look a little cartoon and SR2 is less realistic then GTA4's graphics.But I also like that SR2 is uniqe because alot of games have graphics like GTA4 has.Now on the gameplay is pretty cool on SR2 but like when you fall your charecter screams without even opening his mouth and he just stays stuck in the air like he's in a koma.Atleast in GTA4 when Niko/or any other charecter falls he reacts like a normal person would.He moves screens and makes it look as if he was really scared.Another thing SR2 is very succesfully and we all need new mateareals in video games but I dont think SR2 should be dissing GTA4 because the hole GTA franchise is just a Legend of all games all over the world.GTA was out long before SR2 was even thought of.Now Online, In SR2 the Activities are way funner then in GTA4.Like the clothes shopping is way funner because theres soo many diferent types of customazations in SR2 that you wont even find some that exactly looks like you.In GTA youll probably find about 3 or 4 Males/Females Looking just like you.It Kinda gets anoying.Now on the Cars/Bikes/Airplaines and such,SR2 has alot more to give you in these types of things.There are alot more vehicals in SR2 then there are in GTA4 even though some of then arent real people seem to enjoy them.Now on the Combat Moves,SR2 has alot to offer on this,They have about 4 different fighting styles in the game and GTA4 has only 1.There are secret moves on GTA4 but still doesnt match up to SR2's Combat Moves.Now on Blocking Behind Objects.Now in SR2 you can hide by crauching but GTA4 could crauch and hide behind walls.In SR2 theres also too much blood over dramatic to me.In GTA Niko has the blood on his clothes and even his face.The Shooting is a little more real on GTA4 because they look more and sound more realistic all though SR2 has more weapons. -----Now

Saint's Row 2 is without a doubt one of the single meatiest and tastiest experiences I've had on the Xbox 360 to date. It's an absolute kick in the pants from the very start. Whether you're blowing your way out of prison, customizing a bevy of vehicles, throwing down in an MMA arena, or kicking the tar out of a rival gang, there's always some fun to be had with Saint's Row 2.

- gta4 may bae a good game but i think saints row 2 is better you have alot more freedom and more options plus gta4 gets boring after the first few missions saints row 2 may not be a very long game but it is interesting but i wish they left tanks in it :S
