Did you know that in the middle of Pacific Ocean, right next to the Marianas Trench, you can find a beautiful US island paradise? Yep, that's Saipan. The island is located in the Commonwealth of the Mariana Islands, a US commonwealth territory.

Saipan has something for everyone and is a great year round vacation destination. There are excellent hotels, beautiful pristine beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and genuine island hospitality. Best of all, Americans can visit without even having a passport.

Where is Saipan?

Saipan is located in the Pacific Ocean. It's about 1500 miles south of Japan and about 1500 miles east of Manila. It sits just 130 miles away from Guam. Geographically, it is situated in the Northern Mariana Islands which is considered part of the Micronesian chain of islands.

How Big Is Saipan?

Saipan is just about 45 square miles in area. It's about 12 miles long at its longest part and about 5 miles wide at its widest part. It's got a wide sandy beach that stretches down its entire western coastline while the eastern coast is influenced by the trade winds.

What's The Weather Like In Saipan?

The Guiness Book of World Records lists Saipan as having the most equitable climate in the world. You can pretty much guarantee that the temperature is going to be about 86 in the day and get down to 77 in the night. This varies by only a few degrees from day to day and season to season. The comfortable temperatures are almost always accompanied by a nice breeze that keeps things fresh and comfortable.

Where To Stay In Saipan?

There are many great hotels and resorts in Saipan. It's best to use a good hotel search engine to find a hotel to stay at.

My personal favorite is the Aquarius Beach Hotel. It's a beautiful condo hotel. The rooms start at about $100, but they include a full kitchen, laundry facilities and separate bedrooms. Best of all, it's located right on one of the best beaches in Saipan.

What About Business In Saipan?

Saipan is open and friendly to new business. They have a straightforward incorporation and business license procedure and they have some of the lowest tax rates under the US flag. If you are looking for an offshore location for your business with all the advantages of being a US business, then Saipan is the place for you.
