Making a "Sally" Costume

DIY "Sally" from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" Costume

This year, my 4 year old daughter wanted to dress up as Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas for Halloween. There are costumes available for adults, but none for kids. So we just improvised and created our own. And I think it came out way better than anything you could buy anywho. Let me know what you think.

How We Made Our Sally Costume

It was pretty easy actually. We bought a girls white long sleeve fitted shirt, girls white tights, and a small woman's white v-neck t-shirt. With an assorted color set of puffy fabric paint and some small foam brushes, we copied the pattern of Sally's dress onto the shirt. We used a permanent black marker to add stitches on the arms and legs of the undershirt and tights. Make-up, black shoes and a red yarn wig finish it off.
