Being a citizen of Salmon Nation
What does it mean to be a citizen of Salmon Nation?
Being a citizen of Salmon Nation means committing to live like you mean it. What does this mean? It means recognizing that where you live matters, that we all live downstream from one another, and that our experience makes the difference.
Do I have to revoke my current citizenship to the United States?
No way. Salmon Nation is a concept, and declaring your citizenship is a personal commitment, not necessarily a political one.
How much does it cost?
Citizenship is completely free. To declare, please visit www.salmonnation.com and make the leap!
What do I get as a citizen?
In addition to all the benefits you already get from the plentiful Salmon Nation region, you will also get our periodic newsletter called Salmon Nation Voices.
Salmon Nation Voices is produced in both print and electronic editions. The print edition, mailed to Salmon Nation citizens four times per year (also available for download from www.salmonnation.com), profiles individuals who are working to restore the health of the communities and eco-systems throughout Salmon Nation.
The electronic edition, e-mailed every 4 to six weeks, contains a featured Salmon Nation voice, a calendar of upcoming events, and links to articles and stories about some of the inspiring work being done in the forests, fields, harbors, and communities of our home.
Also feel free to read some of the past issues!
Will you sell my information to others?
