Salt Premiere Is Blessed By Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Salt Premiere became so glorious with the attendance of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Actually, Brad Pitt comes out to support his leading lady, Angelina Jolie. Together, this couple walked on the red carpet at the premiere of Angie's new spy thriller, SALT that has been held on Monday, July 19, at LA's Grauman's Chinese Theatre.

In the event, Brad Pitt looked dapper, classy and cool in his three-piece Tom Ford suite while Angie kept it sexy in a black Emporio Armani dress. She finished off her appearance with Ferragamo shoes, an Asprey bracelet and earrings of her own. The two looked so fabulous in Hollywood. Angie's dad and brother, actors Jon Voight and James Haven, also came out to support Angie.

For your information, Salt, which co-stars Liev Schreiber, opens everywhere this Friday, July 23. Next Thursday, Angie is expected to make an appearance at Comic-Con. Salt itself is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Phillip Noyce, written by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgeland, and starring Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. In this film, Jolie plays as Evelyn Salt, accused of being a KGB sleeper agent, on the run to try to clear her name. Actually, the leading man of this film was given to Tom Cruise, but because of his commitments to other projects, and the script was ultimately rewritten for Jolie, Tom Cruise was unable to commit to the role in this movie and initially secured for the lead.

As you know, the filming of Salt took place on location in Washington, DC and New York City between March and June 2009. Jolie was taken to the hospital after suffering a head injury on set but was released the same day where filming resumed. The film will have a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 22 and will be released in North America on July 23, 2010, and August 20, 2010, in the United Kingdom.

According to review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, the Salt premiere movie, the reviews got 80% of critics that giving the film a positive review based on 5 reviews. Kirk Honeycutt of the Hollywood Reporter said that "While preposterous at every turn, Salt is a better Bond movie than most recent Bond movies, as its makers keep the stunts real and severely limit CGI gimmickry"
