Well, I'd say that cute little critter is enjoying a truly "salty snack" wouldn't YOU? Salty is my type of snack these days although in my 20s I really LOVED sweet snacks. What do you think?

Salty snacks research -- U.S. research study
Wow ... look at Lay's kettle chips ...
Salty snack sales have been supported greatly by the launch of better-for-you offerings. Some of the most successful brands over the 2004-06 period are lighter and/or wholegrain options including SunChips (50.3% in FDM channels, excluding Wal-Mart, between 2004 and 2006), Smart Pop (up 23.4%), and Baked Lay's (up 31.5%). Some natural versions of salty snacks have done well, too, including Tostitos Natural (up 31.3%) and Cheetos Natural (up 80.4%).
Since not every consumer is health-conscious, it must be noted that many of the more indulgent brands on the market are also growing. For example, in FDM channels, excluding Wal-Mart, sales of Lay's Kettle Cooked chips (up 33.3% from 2004-06), Tostito's Scoops (up 46.7%) and Fritos Flavor Twists (up 16.9%) have shown gains. --www.the-infoshop.com.

- I can handle more salty snacks like almonds or chips, but can't eat as much sweets like cookies without feeling fat and disgusted.

- I've having edamame right now, with sea salt. :) I try not to eat sweets first or last thing in the day. If I'm going to have something salty, I really like the Old Dutch balsamic vinegar and black pepper chips since they are salty/sweet.
