Back in the last real estate crash, in the 1980s, there were people driving around with their car trunks full of Dali art prints. They were trying to trade them as down payments for houses, or anything else of value. Many of the prints were legitimate, there were just that many around. Maybe this depression we'll see former gallery owners offering up massive amounts of Thomas Kinkade or Disney art prints.

Then again, we didn't have eBay in the 80s.

Thank you. I enjoy Dali's work. A most unusual man.

Wonderful lens. I have had the pleasure of seeing several of these pieces in person. I live in Florida and have visited the Dali Museum in St. Pete several times. There is a new one now, have not gotten to see it yet though. Hopefully soon :) *blessed*

I have the "Dali Tarot" Book. The pictures are very beautiful; in fact so beautiful, you could tear them out and frame them and have a complete gallery on the cheap; 5* and thanks for dropping by!

Salvador Dali really made some unique artwork. I think he's been a huge influence on modern artists, you can see it in the current work out there. Squid Angel blessed.

Yes! Dali is unique. Did not know the conversion to Catholicism. Very interesting. Thank you so much for visiting my lenses as an angel. A full dusting with sparkle like that has not happened to me before. I am so grateful.

I've read that Dali was a methodical worker and visited the Prado every day to copy paintings of every school. 5*s

I just did a lens featuring some of his darker work, "Optical Illusions in Art". I will roll this to it. Great artist and lens!
