Why I'm making this page on Salvation (How to be sure you are a Christian)
I'm making this page on Salvation (How to be sure you are a Christian) because there is a lot of confusion on this subject today both in the world in many Churches. Some say we cannot know in this life whether or not we are saved. Yet the Bible clearly says in I John 5:13 "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, THAT YOU MAY KNOW that you have eternal live, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the son of God. Why, then is there so much uncertainty?
POINTS TO CONSIDER: (Which one is true of you?):

Sin separates us from God
"All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned every one to his own way." (Isaiah 53:6)"For All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) The word for "sin" in the original Greek is an archery term, meaning literally to "miss the mark". No matter how good we think we are (how close we may think we come to hitting the bulls eye of God's glory), we still miss it, because we were born sinners.
"There is no one righteous, not even one" (Romans 3:10)
"All our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6) Our best efforts to measure up fall short. All wrongdoing is sin "For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point is guilty of all" (James 2:10)

God loves us unconditionally
"For God so loved the world the world that he gave his only begotten son,That whosover believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)"...keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgressions and sin..." (Exodus 34:7)
The word for "love" in the first verse means to be totally given over to. (See: The Greatest Love)

Jesus has opened heaven's door
WHO IS JESUS?"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John1:1)
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)
"And Thomas answered and said unto Him, "My Lord and my God." (John 20:28)
"..looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Chrit (Titus 2:13)
"But who do you say that I am?" (Matthew 16:15)

Brian Deacon plays the most believable Jesus (other than Robert Powell in the 1977 mini-series "Jesus of Nazareth) in any film, especially those done recently. I highly recommend "Jesus" to anyone who wants an accurate visual telling of the story of Jesus' life without the use of "dramatic license" as has been the trend recently.
FAITH is the only way to heaven
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved," (Acts 16:31)"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6)
"For by grace you are saved through faith and that not of yourselves; It is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
