Samsung is now introducing four of their new phones, S6700 and C5510 as sliding phones, and another two music phones M2510 and M2310.
Let's start with S6700. It is offered quad band GSM and dual band UMTS with HSDPA 3.6Mbps, 2.4" LCD with 16 million colors, 3MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, 120 MB internal memory, additional memory up to 16GB with microSD, GPS receiver, Bluetooth, and USB.
C5510 is another sliding phone offering 2.2 inch LCD with 16 million colors, Quad band GSM and dual band UMTS. The different with S6700, this series is not having an autofocus inside its 2MP camera and also less GPS.

For M2510, it is a music phone with less 3G support to keep it a lower price. It can be used in quad band GSM, 2.2 inch TFT screen, radio with RDS, 3.5 mm audio jack, microSD up to 8GB, Bluetooth, USB and 1.3 MP camera.
The last one is M2310. It is a clamshell shape with 2" QVGA 120x160 pixels and second screen with 96x96 pixels. Since it is the lowest grade compare to other three, it is not much features can be mentioned. It is quad band GSM, VGA camera, Bluetooth, USB, 9mb internal memory and additional 8GB with microSD.

I can assure you that this phone will give a big kick on Cyber shot of Sony Ericsson. The new Pixon12 from Samsung will enter the market with heavy feature on the camera up to 12 megapixels. It has dedicated button for the camera to ease users to use the camera at anytime and anywhere. Shutter button is one of them, provided like Sony Ericsson. We can take a picture by touching this button only.

Touch Auto Focus is a feature to arrange the auto focus during the picture taking, especially for moving target, this feature will trace the object and keeping it as a vocal point. Smart auto mode is a feature to arrange the brightness, etc automatically based on the condition. It looks like Samsung is planning to take the camera phone to higher level. They will use 28 mm wide lens for Pixon12.

The weakness of camera phone is the lag time when taking a picture. Samsung wants to find the solution for this problem by adding a new technology to minimize the time. With Pixon12, Samsung promises their users, it just takes 2 seconds to take a picture.

Since it is a camera phone, Samsung has provide 150 mb on board and additional microSD slot up to 16 GB. It is not the best they can do, but more like reducing the cost of the phone. The phone can be connected through GSM, GPRS, EDGE and HSDPA. Also, it is equipped with Xenon LED flash, 720 x 480 pixel videos, GPS and FM radio. For music, it has a standard of Samsung's previous series. Do you want this phone?

When all people are admiring the iPhone 3G, Samsung is challenging the iPhone with their new phone called Omnia. Omnia has a wide display about 3.2 inch that take almost a whole part of the front face of the phone. There are only three buttons under the display. This display has 240 x 400 pixels resolution, which is lower then iPhone.

The phone is running under quad band and can be used on WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications). The latest features are also installed inside this phone like HSDPA (High-speed Downlink Packet Access) 7,2M bps and EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution).

We can find Omnia with two capacities of 8 GB and 16 GB. It is also supporting video standard DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264, Windows Media Video and MP4. The camera has 5 mp resolutions and also has GPS, Bluetooth and FM radio. You can surely enjoy of using this phone with huge and complete features. Especially with a compact size, which is only 112 x 57 x 12.5 mm.

Samsung is the first from the top producers who is introducing a smartphone with Google Android. Samsung I7500 will provide a LED touchscreen organic active-matrix HVGA 320 x 480 pixel, 3G connection with data transmission HSUPA 5.7 MBps, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0, 5 mp camera with LED flash, USB 2.0 and microUSB and 3.5 mm earphone jack.

8 mb on internal memory is installed on the phone. If it is not enough, then we can add it up by using microSD card that can be up to 32 GB. All those features are installed on a phone in a size of 11,5 x 5,6 x 11,9 cm.

If you would like to use the phone in media format, you can use different kind of format such as MPEG4, H.263/4, WMV video MP3, (e)AAC/+, WMA RA audio and access to full suite Google that is including Gmail, Youtube, Google Search, Google Maps, Google Talk and Google Calendar.

For travelers, this phone already has a GPS receiver. So we can use Google Maps, including My Location, Google Latitude, Google Street View, or information and direction to certain places.

Beside of those features, you can also use the phone to download hundreds of application, neither free or pay, in Android market from Google. Samsung just released two new phones with touch screen called S5600 and S5230. Both of them are using TouchWiz UI, big screen and similar features. Through these two phones, Samsung is also introducing a new feature called Gesture Lock that has a function to unlock a menu by writing one letter from A-Z on the screen.

Samsung S5600 has a screen about 2.8 inch and 16 millions colors with accelerometer sensor. This phone is also having a connection to HSDPA networks, 3.2 mp camera, bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0. Samsung is working generously on this phone by giving up 80 mb for internal memory and additional can be done by microSD card.

While for S5230, it has a slim body compare to S5600 and a bigger screen about 3 inch. Unfortunately, this phone is not supported by 3G, but having similar features like 3 mp camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, 50 mb internal memory and microSD slot.

Samsung is targeting Europe as their first market for these two phones. You may find this phone in any stores around Europe this month.

Sprint Nextel Corp will try to take some of the market share from iPhone with a low budget phone with touch screen produced by Samsung, Instinct. There is a possibility that the launching price will be around USD 129.99. Instinct will try to compete against iPhone which the cheapest one is around USD 199 through AT&T Inc.

The feature of this new phone is similar to his competitor iPhone, including the access to high speed data network and GPS receiver. However, Sprint Nextel Corp will not so easy to take the market from iPhone because the newest iPhone will have a lower price, thank to AT&T for subsidizing the phone.

One of the latest product from Samsung is Omnia, the smartphone with touchscreen on windows mobile 6.1. The first impression when you hold Omnia is light. When we touch the screen, there is a vibrate to response to the touch. The response is quite well neither using hand or stylus.

The menu is quite easy to use, even though, it is not as good as HTC Touch Diamond, but the phone has 5 mp camera, which is better then Diamond or iPhone. The camera has the capability to recognize the face like regular digital camera. The result is good with medium level of lighting.

Wifi, HSDPA, Bluetooth and web browser can be combined to support browsing activities. The position of the buttons quite easy to reach and easy to touch. Memory is easy to upgrade by adding mini SD card to the slot and easy to transfer phonebook and calender through active sync provided inside the Microsoft platform.

The weaknesses of this phone, the email client from Microsoft is quite boring because it has been six years they never change the look. This phone has no 3.5 mm so you need to use the headphone from Samsung on the package, which has a medium quality sound.

When the whole world is focusing to the new iPhone, Samsung doesn't want to stay quitely. Samsung Electronics is decided to use this moment to launch a new phone similar to iPhone. Samsung Omnia is having 240 x 400 pixels resolution (Wide QVGA), which is still lower compare to iPhone or other competitor like HTC Touch Diamond.

This phone will be running on quad band (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and also WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications). User can also use HSDPA (High-speed Downlink Packet Access) 7,2M bps and EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution). Omnia will be offered to market with two capacities 8GB and 16GB and supporting video standard of DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264, Windows Media Video and MP4. The camera has 5 mp, has a GPS feature, Bluetooth and FM radio. The dimension will be 112 x 57 x 12.5 mm.

Samsung launched a fashion phone called Soul B U800. The arrival of Soul B will add a family member of Samsung Ultra. It looks elegant and luxury, thanks to the metal part on the body. The thin body which is only 9.9 mm for the thickness and weight about 88.7 grams, is making this phone very convenient to carry. Looking at the dimension, this phone can be matched with Nokia 6500 classic. The features are also comparable with 6500 classic like 1GB built in memory and 2 inch TFT display 16 millions colors with resolution 240 x 320 pixels.

The features, Soul B is having 3 mp camera, LED flash, FM radio, MP3/WAV/WMA player, and Video player/editor. For other applications, you can also find Office document viewer/editor and full HTML browser.

This phone is having a three band networks, also equip with HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0, 1GB internal memory and microSD card,

Soul B will be available in five colors such as Soul Grey, Platinum Silver, Metallic Black, Soul Pink and Amethyst Violet. The first country who will have a chance to enjoy the advance feature of Soul B is Germany and then continue the journey to the rest of Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and South America.

Samsung is introducing their latest phone based on Symbian S60. L870 has a sliding design which has a slim body. The user interface is similar to Nokia N series. This phone is supporting 3.5G HSDPA, 3mp camera, external memory slot, multimedia supports, FM radio and Bluetooth. This phone can be a good alternative for people who wants to try something new but not too different from Nokia. You may find this phone in Europe at the moment. Other countries will follow soon.

The F480 is a touchscreen phone. It has been introduced since last February. Samsung calls it as TouchWiz, except for England, they call it as Samsung Tecco.

TouchWiz was given because the phone is claimed to have a very impressive user interface and touchscreen navigation. Samsung also announced the performance of its battery that capable up to 3 hours talk and 300 hours in standby.

F480 has the capability for HSDPA, 5 mp camera, multimedia features, and FM radio.

For a business person, working efficiency is a must. To be efficient, he/she needs a proper gadget. Perhaps, with this consideration, Samsung is equipped SGH-i780 with touch screen feature and Qwerty keyboard with the famous application from Microsoft, the Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional.

This flexible phone is using stylus pen and the keyboard for typing, so it is suitable for busy person. The navigator of this phone is combined with optical joystick that can be used as an optical mouse to freely move vertically - horizontally and to ease the users to explore the screen in efficient way.

Another model of smart phone from Samsung has launched and added into their line of products. This gadget is using Windows Mobile 6 Professional and supported by 3.5G. With HSDPA technology, this gadget can have a download speed up to 3.6 megabit per second. Not only the high speed connection, the gadget also has a Global Positioning System installed and provided with two cameras. The main camera has 2 mp while the secondary camera is a VGA type for video call.

As written before, this gadget is using Windows Mobile 6 Professional, meaning, this gadget can work on Microsoft Office, browsing, multimedia players, receiving email from standard protocol, DirectPush technology or any other application from Microsoft.

It is just a year from the launching of the first Apple iPhone on June 29th, 2007, a competitive phone has been prepared and becoming an interesting news. It is not Microsoft who usually being a shadow for Apple, but now, the competition is coming from Samsung.

The name of the gadget is called Samsung instinct. It is saying that Samsung Instinct is offering more features compare to iPhone. While the phone is not being used, Instinct can provide almost all kind of features to spend the free time such as email, TV, video on demand,. Radio, camera, camcorder, and voice command. Or we can also use the GPS function while on a trip.

Like iPhone, Instinct is also having third party supports to facilitate the network. If iPhone is having a partnership with AT&T, Instinct will be support by Sprint.

Haboo is a team behind the web had a survey to their young visitors about 54,840 people. The survey is done for their habits of using cellulars. The responders are coming from different 31 countries. Nokia still received a number one place, but other phones are not far behind.

Samsung and Sony Ericsson are voted as a cellular that giving more easiness for entertainment. Nokia still the favorite in 15 countries, but loss its place with Sony Ericsson in England, Germany and Switzerland. In 2006, Nokia was the number one on those four countries.

In England, Sony Ericsson and Samsung received the favorite status intead of Nokia. Most of young people admit, they are using their cellular because of entertainment facilities. 71% of them even said they are using it for listening music.

Other booming application beside the music player is camera. 70% of the responders admit the phone is used for taking picture and 64% for playing game. Short messages is another the most useable application and only 25% of them are using their cell for browsing internet.

Samsung launched its new clamshell series called G400 Soul. It's coming with an exclusive appearance, a silver color all around the casing combined with black touch. G400 Soul has two displays with identically on colors, 256K, and 2.22 inch neither for inside and outside displays. The outside screen can be operated as touch screen.

G400 is equipped with multimedia tools and advance entertainment like FM radio, Music player and camera. The phone will vibrate every time it gets touch. The main feature on G400 is the camera. It has 5 mp and auto focus. The camera is getting better with additional features like face recognition, Samsung's Wide Dynamic Range optimization and image stabilization.

Beside as multimedia phone, the transfer speed already reach 7.2 Mbps on HSDPA network and fully equipped with video calls capability, Bluetooth and USB. For memory, users can use MicroSD.

Samsung as one of world class phone's supplier does not want to stay behind with their competitors like Nokia and Samsung. They have launched new models from high class phones to entry level such as G810, P960, F480, F400, L770, J700, I200, J150 and E251.

One of the top phone is a new model called Soul that is a shorten from "Spirit of Ultra". Samsung is trying to give a soul touch on the phone with some innovative technology and minimalist design. It has a metal casing, 5 mp camera with auto focus, Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for photography, morphing keypad, display QVGA 2.2 inch, Face detector system, and HSDPA support. This sliding phone is also equipped with MP3 player, music library navigation, FM radio, USB port 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0, and MicroSD.

While G810 is having 5 mp camera, HSDPA support, and complete features for Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, and also supporting YouTube, Google search, Map and Gmail. Samsung is also launching a television phone tagged P960 with 3 mp camera, HSDPA, Bluetooth and FM radio. Samsung F400, F480 dan L770 are made for middle class market with multimedia video and music and of course with HSDPA connection too.

For the entry level, Samsung is launching a few models J150, J700, I200, and E251.

Samsung is preparing a new phone and soon will be launched in next exhibition in Barcelona. The phone will be a competitor of Nokia N95. This new phone will support HSDPA, Operating system by Symbian, 2.6" screen, 5 mp camera and anti-shake technology like the one in Cybershot of Sony Ericsson. The other features are face recognition, auto focus, macro mode and 150 for internal memory and a slot for MicroSD. Easy connection is another advantage for this phone which has Wi-Fi, GPS navigation, Bluetooth and USB.

This new phone from Samsung is having two lines that can be used for two different SIM card. We can conveniently have two card from different network with only one cellular. To support this feature, Samsung has improvised the power and speed of its network. The sliding design is a perfect combination for people who's traveling or professional business person.

This is not the first time for Samsung released a cellular with two cards, Previous model of SGH-W579 was having two SIM cards function, but different network. One card is for GSM network and the other one for CDMA. Beside the two cards feature, SGH-D880 is also featured with a 2.3" TFT screen and capability to play MP3, AAC+, and WMA. Samsung just launched a fashion phone called L310 and L320 with main target market for women. As a fashion phone, both phones are focusing on their appearance with standard featuers. Samsung SGH-L310 is a clamshell for GSM network and having a display 176 x 220 pixels. The phone is supported by 2 mp camera, MicroSD, Bluetooth, FM Radio and MP3 player.

Samsung L310 is also having some applications identically for women like Calorie Counter and Shopping List. While L320 is having a display 176 x 220 pixels, 2 mp camera, MicroSD, Radio FM, MP3 player, and interesting applications which are not available in other models. Exterior phones are made with minimalist design but still fashionable. The phone has a size 93.4 x 44 x 17.9 mm.

Samsung is working together with cosmetic company called Benefit from Korea to make a cellular phone with some variant of colors. The cellular with a tag number SCH-W360 and SPH-W4150 launched in Korea in limited edition.

W360 is a cellular with a slim slider with features like HSDPA, 2 MP camera, Bluetooth, and Multimedia player. While the W4150 is a clamshell shape but the features are still unknown

Samsung just announced a new phone with 3.2 inch of display with a serial name SGH-F490. The model is similar to Iphone from Apple, but with more features like 5mp camera, 3G, MicroSD slot and with user interface of Croix UI like F700, a touchscreen.

Samsung will launch two new phones called Armani and F700 Blanco. Both of them are multimedia phones.

Samsung Armani is a fashionable and multimedia phone as a result of cooperation between Samsung and the world class designer Girogio Armani. This phone will be equipped by a 2.6 inch touchscreen, 3.15 mp camera, MicroSD slot, 60 mb internal memory and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support. The great thing about this gadget is its small size with cool design from Giorgio Armani.

For F700 Blanco, it is a smartphone with QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen. This gadget is supporting 3G, 3 mp camera, MicroSD slot and also supporting multimedia for music, video, FM radio and of course, our friend of Mr. Bluetooth.
