Samsung Galaxy Tablet

The buzz of 2010 has centred around high-end smartphones and the forthcoming tablets/slate pcs.

Hot on the back of Ipads great success is Samsung, who after releasing the popular and impressive Galaxy S smartphone, have a pending tablet release.

There are rumours a plenty regarding the specification of the system but nothing has been confirmed yet. Some rumours suggest it will be similar to the galaxy S but with an 800x480 resolution 7inch display with the same 1GHz chip found on the galaxy phone.

Some other rumours say it will come with low res.camera on the from and a 3.2 megapixel camera on the back rumors circulating, apparently we should expect a device similar to the Galaxy S, however there will be a 7-inch display supporting a resolution of 800×480, as for the processor it should feature the same 1GHz chip as the Galaxy S.

Other rumors suggest that it will come with Android 2.2 FroYo, a 3.2 megapixel camera on the rear, a low resolution front-facing camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, Skype, Flash support and GPS.

It is expected to be unveiled in september, by then we should have a better idea of what to expect.
