Samsung UN55D8000 55-Inch 3D LED HDTV

Ranked #6,062 in Computers & Electronics, #124,981 overall | Donates to Squidoo Charity Fund

UN55D8000 vs UN55C8000

The Samsung UN55D8000 is replacing one of Samsung's most popular HDTVs ever. The UN55C8000 was rocking the sales charts of big online shopping sites as well as stores nationwide. The C8000 series will probably be available for another few months, so you still have a chance to get this amazing 3D LED HDTV cheap. The main differences between the old C8000 and the new D8000 series are more features, as well as a slimmer design and less weight. No dramatic changes, so the UN55C8000 is still an option if you want to save some money and don't absolutely want the new Smart TV enhancements and Bluetooth 3D glasses.

UN55D8000 New Features

When comparing both HDTVs, you'll easily spot the UN55D8000. The C8000 was only 1,5-inches slim, but the D8000 beats it by far with almost unbelievable 0,2-inches total, 85% slimmer! You can see one of the first photos of it here.

Other new features include a touch screen remote, a full internet browser as well as the support of blutooth 3D glasses. All features are still a preanouncement since the UN55D8000 wasn't released so far. It's expected in spring 2011, as of today no exact release date is available.

UN55D8000 Price

There aren't any price quotes available yet and rumors aren't really helping anyone. We'll instantly publish the final recommended price as well as good deals here as soon as the 55-Inch D8000 is released by Samsung
