Recently I was speaking to a client I was advising on some marketing and branding strategies and he began to speak to me about the economy, the competition and the market.

Something rose up in me that wanted to jump thru the phone and get in his face and ask ever so gently:

"SO WHY ARE YOU WORRIED? Your competition is going to rest! It's time for you to go make a TRUCK load of money and it's gonna be easier than ever!"

When I was in Direct Marketing my biggest months were in the summer and at Christmas. Why? Because most of the other dealers and sales forces were coasting, resting, thinking that all was well %u2026. while I was robbing the market blind!

* It was in December that I closed 73 new business partners into a direct sales team in under 23 days!
* It was in December that I broke international sales records, by passed the top recruiters and took home 3 times as much money in a bonus pool check because everyone else was believing that Christmas was a SLOW TIME!
* It was on Sept 11, 2001 that I tripled my Vitamin Stores sales when everyone else was complaining the economy was dying!! I sent out a newsletter about needing to take charge of our own lives and we went from $ 21,000 in sales that month to $ 67,000 in sales! DROP SHIP VITAMIN SALES!

When your competition is giving into the stress of the recession it is YOUR CHANCE to go rob the market blind!

How do you do this and how can it possibly work?

Take a GOOD LOOK at where your competition is giving up and GO MAKE MONEY!

Example:

When President Bush puts into action his Foreclosure Market Recovery measures, where are the mortgage companies that help people who are going into foreclosure that do not QUALIFY for his assistance? They had better be getting some exposure and some branding going so that they can dove tail President Bushes debut! Marketing at it's best! If done properly a $ 10,000 marketing campaign could probably be done for under $ 4500! So where are the mortgage reps and brokers? Hopefully not at the bar whining!

Historically businesses have up and down times. In the economy we are currently in people are fearful and distressed. There is huge reason to be! HOWEVER if you keep your business hat on and your emotional hat off, you can prosper in a down time.

* When your competition goes back to school, starts drifting off into never never land looking for other resources to earn money in, it's YOUR chance to go looking where they got off the dock.

* Who were their clients?

* What was their strength?

* What was their most successful month in the last 24 months?

* Do they have an online presence and how strong is it?

* Are they branding offline and how strong is that?

These are just some of the questions you want to ask yourself. When you find out what was working that these competitors walked away from, you can implement some strategies to not only take the market by storm but also completely turn it toward your dock should your competitor ever come to their senses.

On Sept 11, 2001 everyone was in a panic. HOWEVER- understanding the psychological needs of the public, I was able to not only meet a need - make everyone more secure in their ability to care for themselves, I was also able to create a nestegg for myself of extra earnings.

When the economy goes low, people's spending habits get very interesting. DO NOT BUY into the propoganda that buying has ceased and the economy is crashing. People like to buy at times of economic crisis because it makes them feel in control, it makes them feel secure. Don't believe me? Check Alexa.com and search out Amazon. com and QVC.com I bet you won't find a drop in traffic! You might just find an increase!!!

QVC.com will shock you!!!! - we are in a economic crisis and their sales are rising!!!!

So what does that tell you? Well it SHOULD tell you that people are still buying and the market is still wide open.

When I first went into business I had no idea I'd make the kind of money I did. Nor did I have any idea I'd lose the kind of money I did. In just 3 short years I built my first online business to the 3 Million Dollar level. In under one year after embezzlement and total crash, I lost most of it.

I remember thinking to myself it was just a pipe dream, it was stupid on my part, who did I think I was anyways? Homemakers don't create websites and generate millions of dollars of sales. That was just luck last time. Give up the notion.

Being the kind of personality that is motivated by money more than anything, I was on the business band wagon again by 2004 and by 2007 had again generated over a million dollars. This time however it was on in profits, we were debt free and life was great. I was tired again though. It took alot to earn that kind of income. Network Marketing is not all it's cracked up to be. They sell you pretty packages that you can work for 3 years and live for 20 without working. That's just plain stupidity. Any multi-millionaire will teach you that if you stop working- you stop earning. Even my multi-million dollar trainer, Dani and Hans Johnson taught me that. They said it's a lie to believe you can work so hard that you'll never have to work again. It's also diametrically opposed to a Kingdom mindset to think you don't have to work. That's poverty.

So here I am again. I have invested $ 35,000 into my education for copywriting, marketing and more. I have created a solid multi-six figure income. But I'm bored again. The money is coming in but I am getting that LET'S GROW MASSIVELY itch again.
Your Mindset Affects Your Checkbook More Than Anything!

What happens when I get this itch? And why does it seem that it comes around in waves? It could be because I am the kind of person who lives for a challenge. It more has to do with who I hang around with, what is going into my head and where my belief system is.

As a Bible believing radical I believe God desires me to be prosperous. He desires me to take dominion in anything I set my hand to. He looks good and He can get alot done when I make alot of money because I can sow that into places that set people free for the glory of their King! Money does aid all efforts of evangelism and contrary to what the typical broke church will teach you: God does desire that you make ALOT of money.

The cold hard facts settle in when you realize that if you walk with the wise, you'll be wise. If you walk with a fool, you'll learn his ways. In reference to finances that means if you walk with those who are financially independent, you'll most likely get there. If you walk with victims and whiners you'll get there too.

Sadly alot of lazy Christians believe the lie from hell that says God is going to drop a financial blessing on your head just pray, fast and believe enough. He does desire to drop a financial blessing onto the life of His kids. However He has never EVER rewarded laziness with wealth. EVER. He typically lets poverty increase, He says that laziness will bring trouble unto your house. Poverty and laziness and drunkness tend to hang out together. Gluttony, drunkeness and poverty are all cousins.

So how does one inherit all that God designed without selling their soul to a workaholic lifestyle? By walking with a spirit of excellence. I first learned this from Dani Johnson and then later, Dr. LaVonne Atnip. LaVonne is Dani's coach and she's been my personal coach as well for 4 years now. LaVonne is a prosperous 70 year old who holds much authority in the natural and the spiritual. She is wise and is an Ambassador for truth in my life. She recently told me that if I realized who I was in Christ there would be no stopping me.

I set out on that task. Show me who I am God. Help me to forgive all the short-changing, small thinking curses that have been spoken over me. Remove from me the mindset of apathy, break the chains and curses of mediocrity and give me courage God to soar and prosper amidst people who are just struggling to make their next house payment!
What Is Your Brain Eating On a Daily Basis?

I have had the privilege of coaching alot of people in the last two years. It never ceases to amaze and sometimes frustrate me when I meet someone who has an OBVIOUS annointing for business on their life yet they live in struggle and frustration. Typically they go to a church that preaches against wealth but are always praying for God to open doors. They hang out with people who speak against the wealthy and succumb to the lie that God has "allowed" their suffering and poverty they are experiencing to build character in their life. They typically fear failure, don't have much courage or stamina. Yet God Himself designed them to be a strong strong leader.

It's completely frustrating to me when I meet people like this who are struggling to make their next house payment and they have an annointing from heaven to pay the house payment of several hundred people. What they eat daily in their head and in their heart is feeding their checkbook more than anything. Typically if I try to challenge them to think OUTSIDE of their current box they will get offended or cry victim. Sad.

Where are you today? Is your brain being fed things that keep you moving forward or you just working every single day of your life trying to not get stuck. Are you striving to be accepted by man or do you want the favor of God?

Recently I came upon an amazing ministry that I want to be a huge part of: www.thepinkcross.org. Everytime I see one girl set free my stomach turns. I see dollar signs. I see how much it costs to ROB a woman back who is trapped in the sex trade. As a Marketplace Minister I realize that God cannot do what He desires to do with these women unless there is enough money to do so. Can you see why it's SO IMPORTANT to be cautious what is going into your head? Far too many Christians cry when they see the suffering but do nothing to empower themselves to help. They are so stuck in surviving their own life they have no clue whatsoever on how to reach out and help others.

It starts with what you are listening to, watching and absorbing in a daily basis. It takes an aggressive guarding system in regards to what you allow to enter your brain, what you permit people to speak over you and into you. Step by step it is possible to reprogram your thinking. I know, I had a total spiritual labotomy in 2005 that changed my life. I daily maintain that change.

Now I am onto the next step. Really becoming ALL that God designed!

3 out of 5 people were opting into my site and then watching the video and 2 out of 3 were calling me to go to the next step!
IT WAS SUCCESSFUL- and so much so that my trainer created an entire system duplicating the process.

I didnt' care- I told them it was a great idea! More success for more people. I don't have an issue with competition. I want others to be as successful as I am. But face it, when your trainer is following your process, you know you have done something right.

When I got into marketing and copywriting and assisting others to generate success as well, I soon realized there are two kind of clients out there. Those who really want to succeed and those who just want to slow you down. Those who want to succeed were constantly watching what I was doing. Those who wanted to slow me down so they could catch up would call my office send me emails or some other form of passive tactics.

What I am getting at is this. If your copywriting and sales copy is not search engine optmized copy you most likely are not getting the type of traffic that will make you the most money. You might be getting alot of traffic but if it's not making you money, who wants it! Traffic that doesn't convert is a nightmare!
