Free Portraits of Search & Rescue Dogs

I am an artist. Most of my paintings are commissioned works, so if you'd like me to paint your family, your home, or your animals, just let me know :) If you like my artwork, check out any of my sites ~ Daily Painting By Liz ~ A Portrait For You ~ Daily Dog Painting ~ Daily Painting By Liz Blog ~ Portrait of A Hero (where all the K9 and Search & Rescue dogs and Mounted Patrol Horses have their own page!

I have collectors in almost every state, and internationally, including Canada, Great Britain, France, Bahamas and Viet Nam. I have always been artistic and have not had any real art training.

I do not come from a military or police background, but I have always been grateful to them. I have finally hit on an idea that I can use to 'pay back' something to those who dedicate so much to keeping the rest of us safe. It is only a small gesture, but it is my gift.

I will be creating portraits of Fallen Officers, Search & Rescue Dogs, Mounted Police and others at no charge.

I am not an organized charity, and I don't have any supporters or donors. I am doing this with my own supplies and time. Since I have just started, there is not much to see on the site, but I expect to add to it at least weekly.

I consider my artistic ability to be a gift from God and feel an obligation to use it to 'give back' to those who have given so much to keep us safe.

If you are a member of Search & Rescue, K-9 or Mounted Patrol, please allow me to paint a small portrait for you at no charge, in gratitude for your service.

Each dog has his own page at Portrait Of A Hero - http://www.PortraitOfAHero.com/ The paintings are much better in person, you can't see the detail well online.
