Meet 9 Year Old Skier Sarah Albom
Skiing fascinates me. I am amazed at how graceful athletes can appear when zipping down the slopes, or flying through the air. I watched my 9 year old daughter Sarah in silent wonderment.
Over the past few years we have become a snowsports family. We follow the winter. This was Sarah's year. She participated in free style, race and nordic jump. She emerged on top as Sarah Albom is now the 2009 New Zealand Jr. National Champion Overall - Female Freeski U10.

I am the proud mom.
Congratulations Sarah!

Sarah's Favorite Roxy Gear
Sarah loves Roxy! Here are some of the Roxy items she used this season. They are all available at Amazon.com. You can click on any item below to go to Amazon. From there you can get more information on the product, or see other products.
Roxy Abracadabra Ski
These are the skis Sarah used this season for halfpipe, slopestyle, big mountain and ski-cross. Sarah says, "I love my twin tips!" They are great skis that gave her that extra edge to go higher and faster with better steeze (style). Plus they are gorgeous and look fantastic in photos and on the podium!
Sarah skied Roxy Abracadabra Skis - Girls 125 cm
Roxy Rocker Skis w/Dynastar Look T4 Binding New 2008
Sarah has been on Rockers for two years now. She rides them for racing GS, Slalom or just cruising the mountain. Sarah says, "Fantastic." Another gorgeous pair of skis. Sarah trained in race for 2008, and while the other kids were all on race skis, Sarah took home the championship on her Roxy Rockers 120. These are an excellent all mountain ski.
(As she grows, Sarah will move into race skis for racing, and continue on alpine skies for all mountain.)
Roxy Sweetheart Girls Ski Boots - 21.5
Nothing completes the look quite like adding the Roxy boots. Sarah has sweetheart boots just like these, only she preferred the white one. Moving into boots with added clips has improved her control.
Roxy Mist Women's Goggles - Potion Purple Frame, Pink/Blue Lens
Sarah uses a different Roxy goggle, but they are all great.
2009 Roxy Girl Wonder 38 in Ski Poles NEW
Sarah used poles which match her Roxy Rockers. They are too small at the end of the season, and these are the poles Sarah wants to get next. Her friend Bridie uses them now.
Sarah's Favorite Books
After skiing, Sarah loves to read a good book. Here are some of her favorites.
