Who is Sarah Mclachlan Angels

Sarah McLachlan has emerged as one of Canada's leading recording artists and a major force in the North American music industry.  Sarah McLachlan has sold over 26 million records worldwide since her recording career began in 1988 with her debut album Touch.

Album

Apart from writing some lirycal songs for her following albums she wrote several soundtracks to the the films.  Set for nationwide release on October 17, 2006, Wintersong is Sarah's first new studio album since Afterglow, released November 2003.  Wintersong features guest appearances by Diana Krall, playing piano on "Christmas Time Is Here" (from the 1965 animated TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas); and Jim Creeggan of Barenaked Ladies, who plays double bass throughout the album.

Angel

"Angel" is a song by Sarah McLachlan that originally appeared on her 1997 album Surfacing.  The song was used in the movie City of Angels Also and again used in an episode of the TV series Tru Calling, Angels was used in an episode of the popular TV series Alias, and once again used in the TV series Higher Ground, starring Hayden Christensen Which goes to show the versitilty of this beautiful song.

Piano

McLachlan studied classical guitar, piano and voice as a child, and at the age of 17 was discovered by Nettwerk Records at her first performance as part of a New Wave band.  I learned how to play it on piano & I try to sing to it.  I love to play it on the piano because it is so amazing.
