Sarah Larson, George Clooney's Ex-Girlfriend

Before dating Hollywood hunk George Clooney, Sarah Larson was probably best-known for being a season 5 winner on NBC's reality show, "Fear Factor." Sarah had to eat a scorpion as part of her road to that victory.

Sarah Larson, from suburban Washington, is reported to have been a model and go-go dancer in Las Vegas, where Clooney and Larson met several years ago, when she was a server in The Whiskey Bar at Green Valley Ranch. Sarah had also been doing modeling and promoting for casinos and other businesses in Vegas.

The two started dating June 2007 when Clooney returned to Vegas for the "Ocean's 13" premiere. Now, according to the media, George has ended his dating relationship with ex-girlfriend Sarah Larson, who is packing and moving from his Los Angeles mansion where they had lived.

According to a serious ex-boyfriend, Sarah is a great mixture of a nurturing soul and a "free-spirited hippie chick, devoted to playing bongos and performing exotic dances of India."

"She's not star struck and I bet he really likes that about her," McKaughn said about his ex. Plus, according to a friend when they were dating, Clooney likes having her around. "She makes him very happy and doesn't stress him out. She's easygoing and loving, and that's what he needs right now."

Called a 'party-animal' by some, Sarah Larson has been photographed having some rowdy, fun times. Sarah, however, hasn't been photographed with ex-boyfriend George Clooney, since his 47th birthday party on May 6, 2008, in New York.

While dating Clooney, Sarah Larson was listed in People's 100 Most Beautiful People issue, accompanied him to the Oscars in February and made countless red carpet appearances on his arm. Larson had moved into Clooney's Los Angeles mansion, setting off speculation she might be "the one."

FoxNews said the 29-year-old Larson went back to Vegas, and has already reunited with old friends.

Her reaction to the split? "She thought they were getting married. Instead, she got dumped. She's totally heartbroken and doesn't deserve this," a friend told FoxNews. "It came out of nowhere. They had made all these plans."

The blogosphere has never been kind to Sarah. Referring to her as a whiner, gold-digger, and tramp, for starters, some consider her to just be seeking the limelight. Also called a skank by some, who said Sarah is typical of the kind of woman George Clooney tends to date.

George's apparent response to the break-up? He stated that she was a sweet person, but they had very little in common. He is relieved to be single again. In Touch, meanwhile, quotes a Clooney friend saying, "The truth is that they had little in common and he just doesn't want to be tied down."
