To underscore the power of television, Sarah Palin's signature rimless eyeglasses are so popular now they're on back order, says Amy Hahn, vice president of distributor Italee Optics Inc.

Demand for the $375 frames designed by Kazuo Kawasaki (style series 704, color 34) has quadrupled since the Republican National Convention. (Before the RNC, few people even knew who Sarah Palin was).

To fulfill the flood of new orders, Italee Optics Inc. is now manufacturing the glasses around the clock. "Our phone started ringing off the hook [the day after Palin's convention speech]," says Hahn. "Now we're doing everything we can to keep up."

Meanwhile, sales of the red peep-toe 3 1/2-inch heels by Naughty Monkey that Palin wore have also surged 50% on Amazon.com. "The age bracket we target is a little younger. It's a very edgy, very hip, very street brand," says brand director Jay Randhawa.

The pumps were originally designed for 20-something club-goers like Paris Hilton, but their popularity as jumped ever since Palin, 44, wore them on national television. Hoping to capitalize on Palin's current popularity, WigSalon.com is highlighting their selection of Palin-esque wigs. "Obviously we're going to get a jump from this," says owner Joe Aronesty. "And it's not even close to Halloween."
